Abstracts

Abstracts must be written in English or French and limited to 500 words, without illustrations. They must relate to one of the conference themes.

Full Article (Eligible to LHB) 

  • Should be written, if possible, with the following elements in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list)
  • Should contain between 3500 and 5500 words, inclusive of:
    • Abstract
    • References
    • Footnotes
  • Should contain an unstructured abstract of 200 words.
  • Should contain between 1 and 6 keywords.

Please note that if submitting a Research Article in French, the author will need to submit an English version of the title, the Abstract, and the Keywords.

Short Article (Not eligible to LHB) 

  • Should be written, if possible, with the following elements in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list)
  • Should be no more than 2,500 words, inclusive of:
    • Abstract
    • References
    • Footnotes
  • Should contain between 1 and 6 keywords.

Please note that if submitting a Technical Note in French, the author will need to submit an English version of the title, the Abstract, and the Keywords.
